About The Event
Every 3 months, Engaging with Ageing offers a workshop at the Hop50+ to explore a different aspect of ageing positively, with resilience. Each workshop will give you a chance to learn, explore and practice with others, different skills which contribute to Resilience, and which will help you get more of what you want from life. In this one, we will explore 3 key areas of Resilience – Strengths - knowing our own strengths (and building on them) Emotional Nourishment - Developing mental habits that nourish us and encourage growth ; and Weeding out unhelpful ways of thinking, or habits that may not leave us room to grow.
The workshops are for anyone who wants to learn or build on their skills for ageing positively and getting the best they can from life. All you need is an open mind, a sense of humour and a willingness to share and listen to others!
